U.S. Budget Watch

A new report from US Budget Watch analyzes how the policy proposals put forth by the GOP presidential candidates will affect the federal budget. The report, Primary Numbers: The GOP Candidates and the National Debt, attempts to measure the debt impact of each candidate's platforms as they have presented them to date.

CRFB Kicks Off National Debt Tour

On February 21 in Boston, CRFB kicked off a national tour of policymakers, fiscal experts, and business leaders as part of the national Go Big campaign pushing for a major deficit reduction deal in 2012.

Urging Washington to Go Big

 

CRFB, along with many other lawmakers, business leaders, former government officials, and organizations, is calling for leaders in Washington to "Go Big" and enact a comprehensive deficit-reduction plan of at least $4 trillion to put the U.S. back on a sustainable fiscal path.
